FINDtheSHIT had exclusive access to visit the editing suites of Arujan Ravindran’s new film ‘Live A Little’. The film is currently in post production and projected to release in fall 2012. We were also honoured to take a look at a rough cut of the film.
So there are these 2 people. They sort of know each other. Not really friends and not really strangers. Both aren’t really looking for any emotional connection. They just want some hanky panky. Hit it and quit it. Feeling frisky? Got the other on speed dial.
This is the chick flick of the new generation. It’s no longer trying to win the love of another, or fighting against the world in order to be together. No. It’s about the development through out the movie. It’s all fun and games until you throw in some random twists, problems and situations. I would like to say this movie is predictable, but it really isn’t. There is a lot of flip flopping which makes you feel like you have things figured out, until BAM…that wasn’t supposed to happen. The movie went out of its way to break away from the typical love story, but they still managed to include enough to stay true to the genre. There were never any forced aspects to the movie and the story unraveled in a smooth and logical way. It’s definitely a good watch and you might find the urge to get something out of your eye at some points in the movie. You know how that happens. Coincidently when a certain scene comes…some stupid eye lash, or dust particles get in your eye. This is a must watch.
Rating = 8/10
